Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 29, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using MistakeFinder, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use MistakeFinder.
2. The Service
MistakeFinder is a content assurance platform. It runs AI auditors over content you submit and returns findings, severity ratings, and suggested fixes. The service audits text, and where your plan allows it, images and video.
Audits are informational. Findings are suggestions generated by AI, and you remain responsible for reviewing them and for deciding what you publish.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Submit content you do not have the rights to audit.
Use MistakeFinder to review content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data.
Resell or redistribute access to the service without a separate agreement with us.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Plans, Usage Limits, and Billing
Each plan has usage limits, such as monthly word allowances or audit quotas, described on the pricing page. Promotional offers, including early-access limits, apply for the period stated in the offer.
Paid plans bill in advance on a recurring basis unless stated otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you do not cancel before a renewal date, your plan renews automatically at the then-current price.
6. Your Content
You keep all rights to the content you submit for audit. By submitting content, you give us a limited license to process it solely to operate and improve MistakeFinder for you. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You are responsible for making sure your use of the service, and the content you audit and publish, complies with applicable laws, including advertising and disclosure rules in your industry.
7. Intellectual Property
MistakeFinder, including its software, auditors, brand, and design, is owned by MistakeFinder and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to use our brand or copy our software, except as the service itself allows.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that audits will catch every mistake, that findings will always be accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MistakeFinder will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
10. Termination
You can stop using MistakeFinder and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we are required to by law. Where practical, we will give you notice and a chance to resolve the issue first.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
